“Tarallini” are a delicious Italian snack food. They are the commercially sold version of their bigger brothers “Taralli”, a traditional southern Italian snack originating in the Puglia region of Italy.
Taralli are commonly found throughout southern Italy and everywhere else in the world where southern Italians emigrated. They are made similarly to bagels by briefly boiling the dough before baking it, and gain a very distinctive and interesting texture akin to a bread stick or a pretzel. Traditionally, Taralli can be dipped in wine.
